Fast evacuation times
With the fastest evacuation times in its class, the RA 0155 A also offers the advantages which the R 5 is very well known for. As always, you can expect operational reliability and robustness as standard.
The RA 0155 A is the ideal vacuum generator for continuous operation in the low vacuum range, for pumping of large volumes and when working at ultimate pressure. This is ensured by the perfect oil separation which uses Busch exhaust filters developed in-house and the hardwearing Busch vanes made from special composites material.

Easy maintenance

Robustness and reliability of operation are the outstanding properties of the R 5 rotary vane vacuum pumps. These are some of the reasons why proven Busch technology has long been established as the industry standard. Over 2.5 million R 5 vacuum pumps are in use worldwide in industrial day to day business.

Operationally reliable and cost-effective
The rotary vane technology has been continuously developed and optimised by Busch for 50 years, with constant focus on both economy and reliability of operation. High efficiency and energy-efficient drive units are the positive results of this development. These vacuum pumps are fitted with heavy-duty carbon fibre composite vanes as standard. These Busch vanes have been developed for tough operation of R 5 vacuum pumps and are manufactured exclusively at our own plant. The highly efficient oil separators are also a special development, as they guarantee optimum oil separation of even the smallest oil particles from the exhaust air.

This series is perfectly suited for continuous operation in low operating vacuum ranges such as in vacuum packaging. The compact type of construction enables the R 5 rotary vane vacuum pumps to easily fit into existing machines.

Service-friendly
Maintenance can easily be carried out by the operator. Apart from the change of oil and filters at regular service intervals, no further maintenance is necessary.
The R 5 series includes many more models than described here. Specialised types of R 5 are available for certain applications such as pumping oxygen.
