24th February 2016, Bangkok, Thailand – With a room full of 68 specially invited decision makers in the industry, Danfoss officially launched the OptymaTM Plus Inverter Condensing Unit, the first in the ASEAN region. With the key message of “Growing together for an innovative tomorrow”; a range of products covering the latest Inverter Technologies offered by Danfoss was revealed.

The launch was followed by brief introductions of the products revealed. Anil Thakur, Director Marketing, APA & India, Danfoss Commercial Compressors kick-started the presentation with an introduction of the new OptymaTM Plus Inverter Condensing Unit & Scrolls for Low Temperature Refrigeration. Watin Klaisuk, Regional Sales Engineer – Electronic Controllers joined in the bandwagon to talk about Electronic Controllers followed by Rupesh Patil, A/C Business Development Manager covering High Efficiency Air-Conditioning Technologies.
“Thailand is a key market for Food Retail & Commercial Refrigeration segment and considering the importance of Condensing Unit in this market, it made perfect sense for us to choose Bangkok as the launch city for OptymaTM Plus Inverter Condensing Unit in the Asia Pacific region. During the second half of the event, a Symposium on Energy Efficiency was done among invited guests from ASHRAE Thailand, CP Retailink Co., Ltd (7-Eleven), Uniaire Corporation Co., Ltd and a Professor from Chiangmai University. Topics related to trends, new technologies and future needs at Thailand were discussed during this symposium.
